"Do with us whatever you think best, but please rescue us now." is such a mind-blowing sentiment. I never really felt that "but even if He doesn't" was right somehow. I couldn't wrap my head around the concept that they loved him regardless of what He did. I know it made sense logically, but I couldn't get myself there. Thanks for a unique take on this, and for the wisdom in tying those three scriptures together.
